He's been touring for 18 years solo and with two popular bands: the late great ThaMuseMeant and his current rock outfit Surprise Me Mr. Davis. Inspired by words as much as by music, Nathan has written over 1,000 songs.

Jerry Garcia would have been 68 on August 1st, and CRYPTICAL is pulling out the stops for a birthday celebration in his honor on Saturday, July 31 at the Connecticut Yankee in San Francisco. Stu Allen (JGB, Front Street, DSO) will be handling the lead guitar duties, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have him join us.

The doors for the show itself open at 8:00, although they have really good food at the club (so come early for Dinner And A Show). Tickets will ONLY be available at the door, so GET THERE EARLY!!! Since Jerry's birthday officially hits at midnight, everyone will receive a glass of champagne for a rousing birthday toast. :)

We look forward to having you join CRYPTICAL for a night full of Grateful Dead-inspired jams in honor of San Francisco's favorite musical son!
