WHAT WE BOOK:
Rock, groove and psychedelia, bluegrass, folk, worlbeat, funk, jam bands, and jazz acts - National, International, and Local.
We are open for the sole purpose of the shows we host. We rely on the band's draw to make it worth our while - there is no built-in nightly draw.
WHEN WE DO MUSIC:
Every Thursday, Friday, & Saturday
Except The Last two weekends in December and the first weekend in July
HOW YOU SHOULD CONTACT US:
Ideally, the best way to contact us is through e-mail.
Send your website link, dates you book are looking for, and contact info.
We will get back to you if and when we have something available that we think will suit. Response times vary depending on our level of busy-ness, your patience is appreciated.
Save your time and money and e-mail us. Really - we're not just saying that! Unsolicited physical press kits end up in a big pile and we very rarely have time to check them all out. Press kits that are dropped off rather than mailed are even less likely to make it to the right place. It is much easier and less messy for us to check out a band online. (Plus, your ability to follow our guidelines also goes a long way...)
Always include your complete Contact Information with any communication:
*your name
*your position within the band organization
*phone number
*any relevant website links (the band's, the label's, etc.)
*your e-mail address(es)
*if you normally book through a manager or agency, please include this contact info as well
*If you do mail us something, all materials submitted become the property of The Connecticut Yankee. Accepting your demo does not constitute a guarantee or promise of return contact or actual bookings.
**Please do NOT come to The Connecticut Yankee in person to discuss booking without having an appointment. We are busy, this is an inconvenience in our too-short day. Please use the e-mail!
***If you've already submitted a package and wish to follow up, the best way to do so is to e-mail us. E-mail is our friend. Our really, really good friend.

**** If your band or the band/artist that you are booking cannot draw at least 50 people, please dont waste our time or yours (not to be harsh, but that's just the reality of the buisness. But, we do wish you the best in all of your musical endevors!)

If you cannot draw OVER 50ppl in SF, please do submit to us. Just wait till' when you can draw that amount! Also, please don't slam us w/ E-mails... we try our best to make contact w/ everybody but the amount of e-mails we get makes it impossible to respond to everyone each and every time.
